Israel and the 'Jesus Trail'
As part of the research for "Woman of Clay", I visited Israel with my daughter. With only the luggage we could carry on our backs (6kg each), we set off on a three week trip. What better way to experience the kind of life that Jesus lived than to hike the "Jesus Trail" (www.jesustrail.com), a 65 kilometre walk on the most likely routes Jesus would have regularly travelled in Galilee. From the old city of Nazareth we walked to Capernaum, and then visited Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and the Negev desert.
